Fathers day

so a couple of weeks ago i told dad i wanted to hike half dome so on fathers day we got to the trail head about seven o clock dad had only been once or twice i had never been so there was lots of things that happened that day i had worn tennis shoes because my boots where to new and i new what would happen so to speed things up dad had a day pack with 2 water bottles and some power bars that was not enough water and the bars just made you more thirsty so the good news is we made it to the top and back down how ever we are still no the trail at 8o'clock and its dark we stumbled inch by inch feeling the trail with the hiking pole there was a moment where i said forget it i will call 911 how ever no cell service and we did not even know where some time after that we walk crossed three cement bridges and no the right side was a huge water tank and we new that was not rite we where not on the trail any more we where no the road by this time it is 10 1030 at night it turns out we where no the far opposite side of the parking lot so we found happy isles found the truck hurray so dad and i said as soon as i can i well call mom and let her know we are OK how ever we came home on the 140 /49 side so i did not have service until we got home about 1 130 am so if the camera still works pic to come
